This handsome sea chart describes the whole coastline of the Guyanas with small portions of Venezuela and Brazil between the Orinoco and Amazon Rivers. Inset into the map are two charts of The River Oronoque from the Entrance thereof to St. Thomas's and The River of Surinam and Places Adjacent. Both inset maps have soundings, hazards and anchorages. The title is enclosed within a decorative foliage cartouche and a large compass rose orients the chart at upper center.
