This uncommon map was reduced from Melchior Bolstra's rare map showing the course of the Maas and Merwede Rivers from the North Sea to Gorinchem. It is illustrated with great detail of the towns, forts, polders, etc., along the route.

There are some ink notations in the blank margins and a small stain in the map at left.
