A classic New Testament map of the Holy Land designed to show the travels of Christ and the Apostles. The map is oriented with the Mediterranean Sea at top. It details the coast from roughly Gaza to the Lebanese border. The map is decorated with an attractive compass rose as well as sailing ships. The Dead Sea has the cities of Siboim, Gomorra, Sodoma and Adama burning within it. This map is a different state of one engraved by Albert Schut for Cornelis Dankerts for inclusion in a Dutch Bible, lacking only the attribution. Dutch text on verso.

Condition: B+
Nice impression and original color with slight text offsetting. The side margins are narrow, but adequate.
