This is an uncommon Italian version of Nicolas Sanson's last map of North America (1666). It presents California as an island with an indented northern coastline, which is labeled Nuovo Albion. The Great Lakes cover most of Nuova Francia and are open-ended in the west. The Rio di Norte flows westward from a large lake in Le Apaches country, and empties into the Gulf of California. This unusual map is not listed in Burden, McLaughlin or any other of the North American references we consulted.
