Very fine map of southern Denmark and northern Germany. Map shows very good detail of the lowlands to the west along with an intricate display of towns, rivers and forests. This is a scarce map due to the financial bankruptcy of Moses Pitt who was only able to complete 4 volumes of an ambitious project for a world atlas. Map has not come up for sale in at least 28 years.
