A detailed map of the Empire of Charlemagne covers Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Corsica, as well as parts of Britain, Denmark, Spain, etc. Included is an inset map of Spain's Balearic Islands of Ibiza, Majorca and Minorca. The map also features a title cartouche in the form of a piece of parchment.
