This small Dutch map of Asia and South East Asia is filled with information. Kamchatka appears as a squat peninsula above the island of Land Iedso (Hokkaido), to the east of which is a large landmass labeled Compagnies L.. The Sea of Japan is named the Corease Zee. In the lower border the northern coastline of Australia makes a small appearance. And in the upper border Nova Zembla appears as a large landmass with a tiny isthmus linking it to the mainland.
