The Geologic Atlas of the United States is a map folio series produced by the USGS from 1894 to 1945. Each folio includes a topographic and several thematic maps for each quad in the folio along with text pages describing the geology and economic geology for the mapped areas. Only 220 odd folios were produced, so the area covered is very limited.
A. Geologic Atlas of the United States New York City Folio #83 (Includes: Paterson, Harlem, Staten Island, and Brooklyn Quadrangles). Condition: Severe water damage primarily confined to blank margins of map pages, and covers have repaired tears. Pages are loose. (B)
B. Geologic Atlas of the United States Niagara Folio New York #190. Contains a large fold-out map Areal Geology of the New York - Ontario Niagara Gorge (19.5 x 46"). Condition: Fold-out map is in very good condition with two fold separations and a small damp stain in blank margin, far from map image. The remainder of map pages have severe water damage primarily confined to blank margins, and pages are loose. (B+)
C. Geologic Atlas of the United States Watkins Glen - Catatonk Folio New York #169. Condition: Damp stains along fore-edge and bottom corner throughout, although they are primarily confined to blank margins on map pages. Some spots of severe water damage on a few map pages. Pages are loose. (B)
