This lithograph of two horses in a pasture overlooking the city of Troy was engraved by August Kollner, lithographed by Isidore-Laurent Deroy. printed by Cattier, and published by Goupil, Vibert & Co. August Kollner was born in Germany in 1813, and worked as an artist, engraver and lithographer prior to emigrating to the U.S. in 1839. He traveled around the country drawing views of the land. In 1848-51, Goupil, Vibert & Co. published a set of 54 of Kollner's views of American cities.
