A. Philadelphia by Gray, 1877, Hand Color (24.8 x 16.5"). Covers an area approximately 4 miles long by 7 miles wide. Shows street patterns, major buildings, horse and steam railroads, Fairmont Park, Delaware River and the Schuylkill River. Color-coded by ward. Intended for a large distribution with explanations provided in English, French and German. B+ condition - Lower and upper 2 inches of centerfold closed with archival materials. Some soiling in margins.

B. Philadelphia by Rand McNally, 1898, Printed Color (26 x 19"). Shows Philadelphia and the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers. Streets, rail lines and major buildings are identified. A condition - near fine with a minor bottom centerfold separation that is confined to the blank margins.
