This survey chart of the Beaufort River between St. Helena Island and Port Royal Island was produced during the Civil War. Several islands are shown, including a part of Hilton Head Island at the lower left. An inset shows the continuation of the river north to the town of Beaufort. Complex soundings fill the chart.

There is one clean fold separation that goes 1 inch into the image and a few spots and light toning on a few folds, else very good.
