A small and very early map of the region showing just a small part of the eastern coastline from Point Loockhoute to Ysfe Caep. It is beautifully engraved with two sailing ships, a raft of penguins, a compass rose and a strapwork title cartouche. Latin text on verso.

Condition: A

A bit of printer's ink residue in upper-right blank margin.
