This striking map covers the Turkish Empire, extending to Greece, Arabia and Libya, with the Caspian and Black Seas and the eastern Mediterranean. The map is filled with details of towns, rivers and mountains. Decorated with a small compass rose and a title cartouche featuring Turkish merchants, Mercury and Pheme, the personification of fame and renown.

A light stain that just enters map image at right, and the bottom-right corner has been repaired with old paper, outside of map image.
