Handsome bird's-eye plan of the city and fortifications of Jakarta, the capital of the Dutch East Indies. A detailed lettered and numbered key identifies the buildings and sites of importance. Charming layout includes fields and trees, and a compass rose, which orients the plan with north to the right, completes the composition. Engraved by Guillaume Dheulland.
