This is a lot of two maps focused on Schuylkill County, located in the heart of the anthracite coal region of eastern Pennsylvania. These two maps depict plans for capitalizing on the natural resources and developing an infrastructure in the area. The maps included are:
A. The Tuscarora Estate by Mc. Bean, (15" x 11.8"). Condition - there is some light staining along the centerfold and some extraneous creasing. (B)
B. Tuscarora Schuylkill Co. Head of the Schuylkill Valley Rail Road by Charles Loss, (21.3" x 16"). Condition - there is a short split at a fold intersection and some light staining on the right side of the map. (B)
