Superb map showing the course of the lower part of the Dnieper River and its mouth on the Black Sea. The map is presented in the strip style with two horizontal strips, with a compass rose on the upper map oriented with north to the right. Richly embellished with an elaborate strapwork title cartouche surrounded by hunters at top. Between the two maps is a vignette of farm animals flanked by a key to cities and citadels and a distance scale.
