This is a nice pair of small Civil War maps of the south. The map of Richmond shows the city in a grid format and the batteries that surround the area. The map of Chattanooga shows the battles of Chickamauga and Ringgold, which were fought to establish control of the important railroads along the Tennessee and Georgia border. Both maps were drawn by Charles Sholl and published by Virtue, Yorston & Co.
