This is a reduced version of the Mercator/Hondius folio map of important islands in the West Indies. This later re-issue of the Cloppenburg plate omits the moiré pattern in the sea, and features several additions, including cartouches added to the distance scales and several sailing ships decorating the map. Parte Seconda Libro VII - 283 is overprinted in left border. Italian text on verso.

Colorful example with hinge remnants on verso. The margins have been extended on three sides to better accommodate framing.
