This detailed map of Portugal depicts towns of various sizes, castles, Archbishoprics, and Universities, with a legend at bottom left. The decorative title cartouche is presented on a drape with a vignette of a sailing ship and the coats of arms of Portugal and Algarve, the southernmost region of Portugal.

Original color with light toning along centerfold and in blank margins, and a few spots of soiling. There are a few short tears and a damp stain in left blank margin.
