This uncommon map of Germany is divided by Imperial states and depicts the theater of war from the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648), which ended with the Peace of Westphalia. A legend at bottom identifies Imperial cities, Archbishoprics, Abbeys, Universities, and encampments. The map was published in Johann Gottfried von Meiern's Acta Pacis Westphalicae Publica.
