An early map of Switzerland with north oriented at the bottom of the chart. The map was based on the work of Aegidius Tschudi, a historian of the Swiss Confederation. The title is engraved onto the top of an unusual three dimensional title box. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B+

There is some very faint centerfold toning and a few wormholes in the ample blank margins. There is also a centerfold separation in the bottom blank margin that is far from the image.
