This detailed map of southern Italy depicts Archbishoprics, Bishoprics, towns, seaports, castles, mountains, lakes and rivers, all identified by a legend at bottom. The map is adorned with a decorative title cartouche flanked by two mermaids and numerous coats of arms, and a dedication cartouche to Girolamo Cardinal Casanate. Engraved by Giorgio Widman.
