This charming small map of the Abruzzo, Molise, Lazio and Campania provinces in Italy extends from Terracina to south of Napoli (Naples) along the Tyrrhenian Sea and from Pescara to Campomarino along the Adriatic Sea (here called Golfo di Venetia). The map is oriented with west at top and depicts the lakes, mountains, rivers, and cities of the region. The map is adorned with strapwork title cartouche that incorporates a distance scale. This is from the first edition, with Latin text on verso.
