Interesting map showing the division of the earth among the sons of Noah with extensive notations. There are graphic depictions of the passages of peoples into various regions from Babylon with the Tower of Babel pictured at center. William Hole engraved maps for Raleigh’s history, but there is no attribution on the map.

Watermarked paper, trimmed to neatlines with 1/2" chips along centerfold at top and bottom with a small amount of image in facsimile. There are faint damp stains at right and light soiling.
