This captivating miniature map of Corsica is oriented with north to the right, and extends to include the northern tip of Sardinia. The map is adorned with numerous sea monsters, a compass rose, and a decorative title cartouche. Engraved by Girolamo Porro and printed on a full sheet (7 x 10.3") of Italian text.

Condition: A

Marginal soiling with one minute worm hole in bottom blank margin, and some manuscript writing in blank ink in blank margins.
