This beautiful map of the eastern Mediterranean region details the travels of Apostle Paul. It is richly decorated with scenes from St. Paul's travels in four vignettes along the bottom and numerous sailing ships and a compass rose in the sea. Dutch text on verso.

References: Poortman & Augusteijn #146-KI.

Condition: B+

Faint offsetting with archivally repaired short tears in blank margins, a few of which just enter map image. There is a tiny tear along centerfold in title cartouche and a tear that enters 1" into map image at bottom right that have also been repaired with archival materials.
