The Southern Railway system was formally created in 1894 and was a product of nearly 150 predecessor lines across the southern United States. This map, catering to the burgeoning tourist industry in Florida, shows the extensive network of railroad lines operating in the state. In addition to the detailed map, there are insets of Cuba and the Southeast U.S. showing railway connections. On the verso is an index to cities and resorts in Florida. Folds into blue stiff paper covers measuring 4.5 x 9.3".

There are a few short splits at fold intersections, else very good. The covers are lightly worn and sunned.
