This uncommon advertising and promotional map of St. Louis was produced for the 1904 World's Fair. It is very detailed, showing all streets, parks, cemeteries, the World's Fair venue, and train lines. Street car lines are shown in pink. The map is surrounded by local advertising. The verso is one very large ad for Cremo Cigars. Cremo Cigars was noted for its advertising slogan " No spit in our cigars", referring to a mechanical and more sanitary means of manufacturing. A two-foot long Cremo Cigar is shown with the price of 5 cents and claims of being "the largest seller in the world." Published by Higgins & Co.
