This is a miniature map of present day Ostrov Vaygach Island, loacted in the Barents Sea, depicting the narrow strait between the island and "Samueden land". The sea is filled with sailing ships and the land is engraved with tiny hunting scenes. Latin text on verso.

Overall very good with a small hole that has been repaired with old paper on verso and hinge tape in side margins.
