Handsome map of Greece and the Aegean Sea, extending north to Albania, Macedonia and the Dardanelles. The map is adorned with a large strapwork title cartouche that features a Greek Sultan, and a secondary cartouche with a coat of arms. There is no text on back indicating it was issued after the demise of the great Blaeu publishing empire, as this was among the plates auctioned in 1677 following the fire that destroyed the printing house.
