An attractive map with insets of Yesso and the Japanese Kuriles, and the Bay of Nagasaki. The map was compiled from the maps of Siebold and the surveys of the U.S. expedition to Japan in 1841. English translations of Japanese terms used on the map are included in a key at bottom.

References:

Condition: B+

Lightly toned with a couple of insignificant spots and faint damp stains in bottom blank margin. There are binding holes in top blank margin that do not affect map image.

Estimate: $100 - $130
