A. Shakespeare. Second Part of King Henry The Fourth. Act IV. Scene IV…, dated 1798 (14.5 x 21.5"). In this scene Prince Henry returns the crown to King Henry and apologizes for having taken it (while presuming that his father was dead). Engraved by Robert Thew from a painting by Josiah Boydell, and published by John and Josiah Boydell in London. Condition: One faint spot of foxing in image, and light scattered foxing in blank margins.
B. Shakespeare. Troilus & Cressida. Act II. Scene II…, dated 1795 (14.3 x 19.5"). This engraving depicts Cassandra, a prophetess and daughter of Priam (King of Troy), demanding the release of Helen to the Greeks to end the war. Engraved by Francis Legal from a painting by George Romney, and published by John and Josiah Boydell in London.
