This French historical atlas is a forerunner to the familiar Carey & Lea/Buchon atlases. There are 35 double-page plates and a supplement incorporating chronological, historical and genealogical tables with 25 maps which include a double hemispheric world and western hemisphere map. The atlas appears to be complete. Hardbound, red quarter-calf with brown paper boards.
