This lot consists of three complete issues of the Gentleman's Magazine: May 1755, November 1755 and May 1759. These issues feature a number of important maps and plans from the North American theater of the French-Indian War including a Plan of Fort Hallifax on sheet with Plan of Fort Frankfort and Plan of Fort Western , A Map of the Cape of Good Hope, and A Map of the Country between Crown Point and Fort Edward. All of the maps are still bound into the original magazines.
