A spectacular engraving showing a bustling crowd gathered around a huge telescope to view the moon. The moon is enlarged above the scene to simulate the view through the telescope.

Lovely color on watermarked paper with wide margins. There are damp stains in bottom corners, far from image, with some paper weakness in bottom left corner.
