A. Terrestrial and Celestial Globes Their History and Construction Including a Consideration of Their Value as Aids in the Study of Geography and Astronomy, by Edward Luther Stevenson, published 1998, (5.5 x 8.5"). This is the 1998 Martino Fine Books reprint of the original 1921 edition. It is considered the classic text on globes, from the earliest through the end of the 18th Century. Hardbound in blue cloth with red and gilt title on spine. This reprint was limited to 150 copies. It is two volumes bound as one; Volume I, 218pp, Volume II, 291pp. An important reference book for any map/globe collector. Condition: (A+)

B. Guy's Elements of Astronomy, and an Abridgment of Keith's New Treatise on the Use of Globes, by Key, Mielke & Biddle, published 1832, (3.8 x 6"). Hardbound, full leather, 16mo, 173 pp. with some illustrations. Condition: Text and plates have light scattered foxing and toning. The covers are scratched and somewhat worn but otherwise sound. (B)
