This impressive, large scale chart of Hispaniola extends to include the eastern tip of Cuba and depicts soundings, safe anchorages, shoals and other navigational hazards. The coastline of the island is shown with excellent topographical detail and many place names. Two large insets depict Cape Nicholas Mole along the northwest tip of the island, and Cape Francois now Cape Haytien along the northern coast. Five sea-views of island approaches fill the interior of the island.
