Uncommon detailed chart of the Strait of Magellan locating harbors, islands, capes and bays from Cap des Vierges to Cap de la Victoire. The rococo-style cartouche includes a lettered reference table for anchorages, bays, and harbors in the vicinity of Isle de Louis le Grand at the mid-point of the strait. The Dutch title, Gereduceerde Kaart van de Straat van Magellan, is also included in the title cartouche.

A nice impression with original color on watermarked paper. Minor printer's ink residue in corners, and a tiny paper flaw in Terre de Feu.
