This map depicts the historic county of Flanders, which at the time was under Spanish control. Brussels is located in the center of the map, and a legend identifying arch bishoprics, bishoprics, and universities is located in the top right corner. Published in London in Thomas Salmon's Modern History: or the Present State of All Nations.
