This richly decorated map of northwestern France is fully engraved with forests, rivers, cities and villages. The splendid title and distance scale cartouches features mermen. Two sailing ships, three compass roses and a coat of arms further decorate this fine map. Blaeu's imprint appears at lower right. French text on verso.

There are a couple of unobtrusive spots in the image, with a few short edge tears confined to the blank margins. An ownership label is adhered to the lower right corner, well away from the image.
