A superb chart of the island of Delos, one of the most important mythological, historical and archaeological sites in Greece. It was the mythological birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and its archaeological ruins are among the most extensive in the Mediterranean. The map provides an excellent view of the topography, temples and ruins. It is embellished with a compass rose and a decorative title cartouche. Engraved by J. Perrier.
