This finely engraved, detailed map depicts the Piedmont region in northern Italy. At the center of the map is the city of Turin, the modern-day capital of Piedmont. The map is highly decorated, with the title emblazoned on a curtain lifted by putti. The goddess Cybele, wearing her turreted headpiece, supports a large coat of arms. Putti hold up an additional 15 coats of arms of the various principalities and counties within the region at both sides of the map. Engraved by J. de Broen.

A nice impression with a few small stains. One centerfold separation at bottom, entering 1" into image, has been backed with archival tape.
