Densely engraved map of the Kingdom of Naples, the 'boot' or southern portion of Italy. The map is absolutely filled with meticulously engraved towns and topography, while the sea features numerous sailing ships. The map extends to include parts of Sicily and the Balkan coastline. The map has a delicately rendered decorative cartouche with putti and the coats of arms of the region.
