The mountains, rivers and forested areas are depicted with a lovely two-dimensional quality. The island is divided into seven Parroquias (Parishes) and nine Quarteles (Quarters). Attractive color on watermarked paper with two small holes west of the salt pond that have been archivally repaired. A chip in top right corner has been repaired with old paper with very minor loss of neatline, and the left margin has been extended to accommodate framing.
