Large and decorative map of the central portion of South America's western coastal region. Covers from above the Equator to below the Tropic of Capricorn with much coastal detail. The map is adorned with a decorative cartouche and four distance scales. Condition: Watermarked paper with light damp stains. (B)
B. Carte du Perou Dressee pour l'Intelligence de l'Histoire Generale des Voyages de Laharpe, by Ambroise Tardieu, dated 1821 (15.5 x 19.9"). This map of Peru and the surrounding region shows excellent detail of the river systems and mountain ranges in the area. Condition: Original outline color with a couple of short tears and minor damp stains all confined to blank margins. (A)
