Charming and decorative map of part of Languedoc in southern France on the shores of the Mediterranean. There is very good detail of towns, roads, topography, rivers and the Canal du Midi. The map is embellished with a decorative cartouche and surrounded with text describing the area. An inset plan details the ancient fortifications of Beziers.

Condition: B+

Dark impression with original color on thick hand laid paper with full margins. There is some light toning along centerfold and one area of light offsetting, else very good.
