A. Germany, Anonymous, circa 1870 (9 x 10"). Very decorative map of Germany surrounded by charming engravings of castles, women from various social classes, and soldiers both on horseback and on foot. The map includes details of primary cities, political boundaries, rivers, and railroads. Condition: Light toning along sheet edges. (A)

B. A New Map of Germany Divided into Circles from the Best Authorities, by George Alexander Cooke, A Modern & Authentic System of Universal Geography, circa 1810 (9.5 x 8.7"). This map of Germany shows Duchys and States, here called Circles, and locates all principal cities, market towns and villages. Extends from the North and Baltic Seas down to the Gulf of Venice, including Vienna in Austria and Prague in Bohemia. Condition: Issued folding with a few faint spots. (B+)
