Handsome map of a portion of the Emilia Romagna region in northern Italy, bordered by the Po River, the Enza river, and the Apennine Mountains. Hundreds of place names are dotted throughout the map, including Parma and Piacenza. The map includes a small inset map of the county of Guastalla, which is situated northeast of Parma. An attractive title cartouche is decorated with leaves, scrolls and flowers. Engraved by Giovanni Pitteri and Giuliano Zuliani.

Original color on watermarked paper with full, original margins. There is a hint of toning, one small spot above the title cartouche, and a few tiny worm tracks primarily confined to the blank margins, with only one that enters map border.
