This map illustrates the land of Canaan before the conquest by the Israelites. It shows Palestine on both sides of the Jordan River and the coastline from Sidon to the Nile Delta. An illustration depicts God revealing himself to Abraham. The map was beautifully engraved by Jan van Jagen. From a Dutch bible published by Nicolas Goetzee.
