A pair of maps that show the east coast of Africa from the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden to the southern tip of Africa with many coastal place names. The first map covers the coast from Arkiko, Eritrea to C. del Gada in Tanzania, showing the Comoros Islands offshore, while the second map continues to the Cape of Good Hope, with the western coast of Madagascar included. Both maps are decorated with an ornamental title cartouche featuring scroll motifs and a compass rose. Size varies slightly.
